I had very limited experience with braids - just what I learned from cosmetology school. Lillar was able to break it down for me and speed up my braiding time. She showed me the proper way to pass the hair between my fingers. She even videoed it for me so I had a reference tool when training was complete.

I had a great experience learning under Ms. L. She is an incredibly patience and hands on teacher who truly cares about her students success. Her teaching style has made it easy to understand and apply the skills I learned. She always took the time to ensure we felt confident in what we were doing and created an encouraging and supportive environment. I’m grateful for the knowledge and techniques I gained from her and highly recommend her as an educator.

During COVID I wanted to learn how to braid hair for wigs and to do my daughters hair in between appointments. Lillar was patient and very informative showing me how to braid in various patterns. I even use her technique to braid my daughters hair now in between appointments. Thank you Lillar for your help!

Amazing Teacher! You can tell that she is passionate about what she does. I gained so mush knowledge with Ms. Rhodes as my instructor. We read textbooks and got hands on training and instruction.
